Biography

I'm Dan. I used to play a Horde Resto Shammy on Emerald Dream back when the level cap was 60 and epic mounts cost 900g apiece, but the raiding got too hardcore and I couldn't balance what my guildmates wanted with what my girlfriend wanted, so I quit.

1.5 years later said girlfriend went to Cyprus for 3 weeks for PhD research and I got sucked back in again, but with other friends rather than my old guildies. Glorif is my main, a level 80 Paladin Tank with off-spec healing. He was the first character I ever created in WoW and the GM of 'The Lancastrian Defence' on Khadgar (everyone else I knew stopped playing regularly quite quickly, so I rerolled Horde with a different set of mates before I had done very much with him, then transferred him to Bloodhoof when I re-rerolled Alliance to play with everyone here). I'm the 'Main Off-Tank' of our guild. Generally Andy takes the boss on Marlen and i'm on add duty due to the wonders of AoE tanking with Consecration, except when we only need 1 tank because Marlen's DPS in catform is better than what I can do ;)

At the moment I work as a Network Specialist and Programmer for Lancaster Uni. If you're on ResNet, I am In Control (tm), so don't piss me off ;)
