    Hey all

    Seems my account has been hacked. Just got a password reset email and an email telling me I've been banned for 3 hours for gold selling.
    Anyone know what I should do?

      First check it's genuine, and then go into the account managment and change your password.

      Then email them.

      Finally do you have an authenticator?

        I can't access wow or the internet properly at the moment, only have net access on my phone :(

      Hokey, here we go again, with better thought out advice.

      Forward a copy of the email to some of us, we can have a look at it. It's possible your account hasn't been hacked at all. Too many things started jumping through my mind.

      You can try logging into WoW and seeing if you manage, there's a good chance it'll still work. As thinking about this more and more, it's not gonna be real. Your character hasn't raided the guild bank, according to armory your character still has clothes.

        The only internet access I currently have is my phone (where I can get email and basic internet) so can't try logging into my account.

          If you're still worried about it, you can come round to ours and use one of the many, many computers to check things are okay. I'll be in all of today (Wednesday) + this evening, or we can arrange a different day if you like. More than anything, don't fret. Even if you have been hacked, you've not caused the guild any issues (compared to the last hackee!) and these things are easily sorted out.
